Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Encrisoft uses cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, tags and similar technologies across its websites, platforms, products and related services. It should be read together with the Encrisoft Privacy Policy.

4.1 What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, tags, device identifiers and analytics scripts. These technologies can support authentication, security, preferences, performance measurement, analytics and product improvement.

For users in the UK, EEA/EU, Switzerland and jurisdictions with similar consent requirements, Encrisoft requests consent before setting non-essential cookies or similar technologies, including Google Analytics analytics cookies. For Nigeria and wider African audiences, Encrisoft applies a consent-first approach for non-essential analytics cookies as a privacy and trust baseline, while also respecting any local legal requirement that applies in a specific country.

Users can accept, reject or manage non-essential cookies where a cookie banner or preference centre is available. Users can change preferences later through available cookie controls or browser settings. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through Encrisoft controls because they are required for security, authentication or service operation.

4.3 Types of Cookies and Technologies We Use

Strictly necessaryAuthentication, secure sessions, fraud prevention, load balancing, cookie preference storage and core service functionality. No consent required where strictly necessary, but clear information is provided.
FunctionalRemember preferences, language, display settings and usability choices.Consent may be requested where required by local law and where not strictly necessary.
Analytics and performanceMeasure website/product usage, understand page performance, analyse user journeys and improve services. This includes Google Analytics.Consent required before use in the UK, EEA/EU and similar consent-based jurisdictions; consent-first approach for Nigeria and wider African users.
Security and monitoringDetect suspicious activity, protect accounts, support audit logs and maintain platform integrity.Strictly necessary where required for security; otherwise consent or another applicable legal basis may apply.
Marketing and trackingMeasure campaign performance, remarketing or advertising-related activity where configured.Consent required before use where applicable. Encrisoft will not deploy marketing cookies without a clear consent flow.

4.4 Google Analytics

Encrisoft mostly uses Google Analytics to measure website engagement, traffic sources, feature interest and performance. Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish users and maintain session state. These are non-essential analytics cookies and are blocked until analytics consent is given where consent is required.

Where Google Analytics data is linked with Google advertising products or used for ads measurement, remarketing or personalisation, additional Google consent requirements may apply. Encrisoft uses a consent-management implementation and Google Consent Mode where appropriate for our UK, EEA/EU and Switzerland traffic.

4.6 Managing Preferences

Users can manage cookies through Encrisoft's cookie banner or preference centre where available. The preference centre allows users to accept all, reject all non-essential cookies and manage categories. Users can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent secure login or service functionality from working properly.

4.7 Third-Party Technologies

Third-party providers may process data through cookies or similar technologies when integrated into Encrisoft websites or products. These providers can include Google Analytics, authentication providers, cloud/infrastructure providers, communication tools, embedded media providers and support tools. Third-party processing is subject to the provider's own terms and privacy materials as well as Encrisoft's vendor governance.

4.8 Updates and Contact

Encrisoft may update this Cookie Policy to reflect technology, vendor, product, legal or operational changes. Questions may be sent to privacy@encrisoft.com or support@encrisoft.com.
